We are Ron and Michele Parkinson; the owners of Square Tree Lane. We build cutting boards, charcuterie boards, and other home accessories.
Our products are constructed by the hands of an experienced craftsman and we strive to create beautiful, stylish, and functional pieces that add value or in some way enrich your life. It is our hope that our hand crafted products will someday become your family heirlooms, carrying with them, memories and traditions to be passed down to future generations. We use time tested methodologies, combined with state of the art equipment, to create modern heirloom pieces by hand, one board at a time.
About Us
We have been married for 25 years and have raised a blended family of 5. We are now blessed with 5 beautiful grandchildren who bring immense joy and happiness to our world.
Over the past 25 years, we have, to various degrees, remodeled 5 homes and learned along the way the importance in paying close attention to the finer details of home renovations and the value of doing things the right way. Each of our homes have reflected that approach and the results were living spaces that we were proud to be responsible for (in design and construction).
Our passion for home design and craftsmanship eventually led us to start our business; Square Tree Lane, and we maintain that same philosophy in the design and construction of our products; exceptional quality, durability, functionality, beauty and attention to detail. All of these elements are essential to everything we build. The results speak for themselves in everything we make.
By most standards of living, the kitchen is the heart of a home and we couldn't agree more. That's why we are committed to giving our customers a product that measures up to such a significant part of their lives.
The Reason
The world is full of faceless, nameless imports conveniently delivered straight to our doors. Often times, possessing no real story about the maker, the origin, and or the materials. We think the story matters. From the materials used and place of origin, to the design and construction, we are thrilled to share our story and proud to put our face and name on our products. Being a small business has it's perks and having the ability to have first hand communication with our customers has been a true blessing. This form of exchange has inspired us to continuously work harder to create the best possible product.
