This chopping block is being sold as a second due to an irregularity in the center. The discoloring in the wood does not in any way affect the efficacy of the board and will likely blend in more over time due to the nature of the cherry species. Although we don't offer refunds on seconds we still provide the wood conditioner to care for this board so it will be around and in use a long time.
