Construction: This hardwood maple charcuterie board was built with end grain construction,  providing the most durable surface in wood cutting boards and blocks. End grain hardwoods are the most desired of all cutting boards in the culinary world because of their unwavering reputation for a lifetime of use with a reduced amount of scarring and minimized wear to knife blades.

This cutting board can potentially be used on both sides but it's necessary to create airflow after sanitizing it (by propping or leaning it upward against a wall or backsplash) Rubber feet are an alternative option to this at no extra charge. 
Anti-slip feet help create air flow between your board and the counter as well as preventing movement while working. We provide and install them at no extra charge.  By adding feet to the board you do forfeit an extra cutting side but gain a built-in airflow that ensures your board is not absorbing moisture. It also is an attractive look that many people prefer. It is important to give your board drying time before laying flat and that's all there really is to it.
