Vertical Edge Grain Cutting Board

This side grain board was constructed of cherry, maple, ambrosia maple and walnut hardwoods. Its design is a complete shift from the traditional designed horizontal board pattern providing a more practical way to use a cutting surface. The grain pattern aligns with the user's knife adding to the board's durability as well as extending the life of the knife blade between sharpening. The inset side grips allow for an easy transport and cleanup, adding another element of proficiency to this design. The end result is a functional and stylish 19.75 X 11.75 X 1.5" board constructed of high quality hardwood for slicing, dicing and serving.

All of our boards are sealed with BeeNew™.  Square Tree Lane's own special blend of food safe mineral oil and beeswax!  BeeNew™ adds a beautiful depth and dimension to the natural beauty of the wood as well as maintaining and preserving it for many uses to come. This cutting board can potentially be used on both sides but it's necessary to create airflow after sanitizing it (by propping or leaning it upward against a wall) Rubber feet are an alternative option to this at no extra charge. 

Anti-slip feet help create air flow between your board and the counter as well as preventing movement while working. We provide and install them at no extra charge.  By adding feet to the board you do forfeit an extra cutting side but gain a built-in airflow that ensures your board is not absorbing moisture. It also is an attractive look that many people prefer.
